Watching continuous Hurricane Katrina coverage on television or gathering updates via the Internet, many people may feel horrified yet distant from the tragedy. Hurricanes aren't something Sacramentans generally worry about.
However, don't be lulled into a false sense of security just because Sacramento seems safe from hurricanes.
