The responsibility and stress that comes with the college experience can be overwhelming: managing finances, balancing academia with a social life, maintaining physical and mental health. The list goes on.

It's no mystery why a large portion of students struggle to complete their course work, lose interest in their studies or eventually drop out entirely.

It is clear that every fight worth fighting for has taken a great deal of courage.

Harvey Milk was the first to fight for gay rights in the Castro District of San Francisco. He became California's first openly gay elected official.

This was a huge deal throughout the 70s and 80s but it got other gays to have the courage to fight for their freedom in California.

Amidst pool of gelled-up "juice heads," bleach blonde trophy wives and aspiring runway models lies the center of all human interaction: drama. Each show that is labeled as "reality TV," whether it's filmed on a deserted island, the Jersey Shore, or in a room with the corpses of dried-up super models-- and Tyra Banks' abnormally large forehead-- the story is pretty much the same.
